Are your teeth crooked, crowded, or your bite is not straight? Invisalign treatment may be the perfect solution for you. WA Dental is a provider of Invisalign, an orthodontic treatment that can improve the alignment of your smile with minimal impact on your day-to-day life. Get in touch with the team today to find out more about how Invisalign can change your life.
If you are unhappy with the way that your teeth are aligned, then you may be a perfect candidate for orthodontic treatment. Anyone with teeth that are poorly aligned, crooked, crowded or with a bad bite may be considered a candidate for Invisalign.
There is no age limit on Invisalign treatment, so don’t put aside your dream of beautiful straight teeth because you think you are too old to have them straightened. In teenagers, orthodontic work can be started once your adult teeth have come through, which is usually after the age of 12.
Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment that straightens and aligns teeth with minimal disruption to your day-to-day life. Invisalign is nearly invisible and can be removed at any time when it is needed. You will wear a series of aligners over the course of approximately one to two years, slowly straightening and correcting your teeth. Because Invisalign is virtually invisible, you will feel free to smile widely both throughout and after your treatment!
We want your visits to be efficient and gentle. WA Dental is dedicated to being your dentists in Federal Way.

During your first consultation for Invisalign, a series of X-rays and images will be taken of your mouth and teeth. 3D imaging technology will be used to create a model of your teeth and how they need to be shifted slowly over the course of your treatment until you achieve your perfect smile.
The Invisalign laboratory will use this information to custom make a series of clear aligners for you. Each aligner plate is worn for approximately two weeks until your teeth are ready for the next plate. In total, you can expect to be wearing your Invisalign aligners for between one and two years, up to 22 hours per day. However, with minimal disruption to your life, you will hardly notice the time!
When you choose Invisalign treatment over metal braces, you are opting for an orthodontic solution that will cause minimal disruption to your life. Each Invisalign aligner is virtually invisible, meaning other people will barely be able to tell that you are using anything at all.
In contrast, metal braces are very visible on the surface of your teeth. Braces require small metal brackets that are bonded to your teeth and joined with wires that slowly pull your teeth into their new position. These wires must be regularly adjusted and tightened by your dentist, creating constant pressure pulling on your teeth.
Invisalign is also a lot more practical and discreet in daily life than metal braces. There are no brackets and wires, which may break during sports and other activities. You do not have to worry about food getting stuck in braces that are then difficult to clean. In fact, you can remove your Invisalign aligners anytime you need for eating, cleaning, or while participating in sports where you need to wear a mouthguard. Overall, Invisalign treatment is a much more comfortable option and often takes less time than metal braces.
